Hollinwood Scout Camp is a new campsite in the Greater Manchester West Scout county. We are situated in Salford, just south of Boothstown.

Despite being in Salford, once you're here you really feel like you're in the middle of the countryside.
Where we've come from
...there has been a Scout campsite in Salford for nearly 100 years.
Alder Forest in Winton was the first. This was replaced by the Alder Forest housing estate.
Middlewood (founded in 1947) came next and we were there until 2016. The RHS took over Middlewood with a grant from Salford City Council and opened in May 2021.

Hollinwood was founded in 2017 and we now need to Build Hollinwood to realise its potential for future generations. We have a 60-year lease and 30 acres of woodland and meadow.
We need to raise a lot of money to achieve our goal.

We want Scouting to continue in Salford for generations to come.
